Lighting Candles This Night

Today in this dreary day filled with so much sadness at what has happened to innocent children I have spent the day writing some of the final chapters to the next book in the trilogy. No, that doesn’t mean I am almost done, just that in this time I wanted to write some affirmation of life and hope and that is part of the end of the next book. Now I have the first chapters and the last chapters and just need to fill in the – oh – 500 pages in between. But today for me was a celebration of life and hope out of things that might look hopeless. Like in the last one. I wish I could write the world that way, but I guess we all have to write our own chapters in that. Now it is time to light the 3rd candle of Advent and watch three small flames light the darkness. That is what we as humans do.
